We are fortunate to have some truly amazing leaders serving on our Fair and Rodeo committees. Their dedication reaches far beyond planning and producing an event—it is reflected in the personal care they show for the people involved in our programs.
Lamont Poulsen is one of many wonderful examples. After Cooper Fiipek broke his back at the Cache County Rodeo, Lamont visited him several times throughout his surgery and recovery, offered him a blessing, comfort and even flew Cooper home.
Lamont has been involved with the Cache County Fair & Rodeo for more than 40 years, serving in many different positions. Through his leadership, dedication, and countless hours of service, he has helped build our rodeo into one of the top rodeos around.
Lamont’s actions are a reflection of Cache County and the values we strive to represent. His compassion, generosity, and willingness to go above and beyond show the kind of community we are proud to be part of.
This is what makes our Fair and Rodeo programs so special—the remarkable people who lead with both commitment and compassion. We are incredibly grateful for Lamont and the many others who continually go above and beyond. 🤠❤️
