As we say goodbye to 2025
I have to also say goodbye to my job of 16 years at the Chief Logan Recreational Center.
Not by my choice but done nonetheless.
I was there from the beginning watching the rec center grow. Watching families coming in together growing and getting healthy together.
I have worked with a wonderful group of people over the years who have taught me a lot. One of my biggest inspirations has been Terry Mullins. She is by far
the best boss I’ve ever had since I’ve been working. But she has been more than that to me. She’s taking me under her wing and taught me a lot.
I’m going to miss everyone. I’ve come to know a lot of you on a more personal basis and blessed to have you as friends. So as we welcome in the new year, may God bless you all and I’ll never forget you

Tomorrow 12/31/25 will be my last day at the rec center.

As I say goodbye to the Chief Logan Recreational Center, I do so with a grateful heart. This center has been much more than a workplace to me — it has been a second home and a place filled with friendships, laughter, and shared memories.

Over fifteen years, I have had the privilege of working alongside an incredible staff and serving members who truly care about this center. Watching friendships grow, families spend time together, and individuals improve their health and confidence has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

Thank you to our members for your loyalty and support, and to our staff and volunteers for your dedication and heart. You are the reason this center feels like a community rather than just a building.

Although I am stepping into a new chapter, not by my choice I will always carry Chief Logan with me. I am proud of what we’ve built together and confident that the center’s future is bright.

Thank you for the memories, the trust, and the opportunity to serve such a wonderful community.
