🏀 THE LADIES ARE UP NEXT! 🔥

Brought to you by : Burke & Herbert Bank , Mister Sparky of Southern West Virginia & Rainelle Medical Center

Basketball with The Big Wagu 2.0 Southern WV Girls Basketball Preseason Top 20 is HERE, and James Monroe starts at No. 1!

Greenbrier East checks in at No. 2, followed by Princeton , Woodrow Wilson and Tug Valley to round out the top five. Westside sits just outside at No. 6, ready to make some noise! 👀

New season. New opportunities. Plenty to prove when the ball tips across Southern West Virginia.

The rankings start here—but the teams will decide where they finish. 💪

Who’s too high? Who’s too low? Who should we be watching this winter? ⬇️

Please keep the Akers family in your prayers

It saddens us to learn that Coach Willie Akers has passed away

Coach Akers lead his Runnin’ Wildcats to four state championships in 1964, 1977, 1978, and 1983 compiling a 402-116 record. His impact and legacy has inspired generations of Wildcats both on and off the court and the foundations he laid for Logan basketball will be felt for generations to come

Please keep the Akers family in your prayers
