NorCal Hoops would like to thank all the teams, players, coaches and fans that have been part of our tournaments over the last many years! Almost all of you conducted yourself with good sportsmanship and demonstrated a love and respect for the game. As such, we have decided to end our tournament series as of December 31st, 2021 for a variety of reasons. This isn't due to a direct result of COVID, but more of a shifting of our life priorities coming out of this pandemic. My sons Alex and Xavier (and I - Ralph) hope to see you all again when the next generation of our family is out there PLAYING instead of coaching and running tournaments! We wish you health and happiness in 2022!

We hope this message finds you all healthy and anxious for basketball. NorCal Hoops HOPES to return in early spring, should California health directives allow. We are busy planning tournament dates - and alternative dates - that will hopefully allow us to return to basketball sometime later in 2021.

Meanwhile, please be safe out there!

THE BAD NEWS
We have had many questions about whether our June 2020 Santa Cruz Beach Ballerz Jam will go on this year. Regrettably the state of California is not allowing Youth Sporting Events until Phase IV of the Re Opening plan (there is a vaccine). So the event will not go on in June. We are still looking at other dates in Aug or Sept, but there is no vaccine on the near horizon.

THE GOOD NEWS
We are already planning for 2021 and hope to have some NEW tournaments at cool Playcation destinations!

We would like to announce that our March tournament will be postponed per AAU guidance, to ensure the health and safety of everyone. For the moment April and May tournaments are a GO, along with June's SANTA CRUZ BEACH BALLERZ JAM! Stay tuned for more information!
