A first place finish for my young friend! Congratulations Brayden!

**Update after further review Brayden ended up 6th in the feature!!**

Update from Dells Raceway Park!

Another weekend of learning and becoming better as a driver each time out on the track!

First practice the car was pretty tight, but we loosened it up for the second practice and ultimately found a happy medium between the two for qualifying and racing!

They were only taking 12 cars from qualifying for the feature and the rest had to race a B-Main feature. Brayden qualified 13th missing it by 1 spot, but another car was unable to continue their night after an incident during qualifying which moved Brayden into the feature!

He drove one heck of a race in the heat race coming home with the win!

Feature time he started in the back and was held up for a little bit, but started making moves and with a couple of cautions he ultimately ended up 7th! His best finish yet in a feature along with getting faster all night long!

Tomorrow through the holiday weekend as Coach Darkness takes his band Mickey Magnum and The Mayhem to the Grand Stage for Brat Fest at The Alliant Energy Center in Madison. 440-520. Bring the family down for this fun free event that runs all weekend. Enjoy the holiday!

Hey all! Just and FYI from now until June the road in front of Fight Club will be closed for utility construction. You will have to park on the side streets or wind your way around to get in the back parking lot. Also a reminder to non Fight Club people on here that the parking stalls behind Fight Club are owned by Fight Club so please refrain from parking in them if you are not part of our Club. Classes will be running as usual and the parking in back will likely diminish this week or next when the roofing contractor is replacing our roof. Thank you for your patience and compliance during this construction phase.

Yesterday was a unusual day unfortunately. 3 guys didn't show up against our team because they got "Rumble Flu". Vincent got a 10 minute before the fight replacement and lost a split decision but we were grateful for someone stepping up to fight. Blake wound up having to fight American kickboxing which requires him to only kick above the waist. We trained for K1 and weren't informed of this until he was standing in the ring. He handled it graciously and won the fight by tko. Alex's opponent came in 20 lbs over weight and spent the next 4 hours trying to get to 180. He got down to like 193. Alex was 178. Alex wanted to fight him anyway so he did. He lost a decision. The guy layed on him the whole time and made him carry that weight. Good strategy. Alex was soundly taking it to him when he was able to create space but just couldn't create enough space long enough to do that for the W. As a coach its my job to let the guys get the glory when they win and to take the lumps when they don't. Everyone did a great job and we had a few people earn their spot on the Wall Of Warriors at the club. You dont get there unless you fight. Thank you to everyone who helped with this camp and who showed up to support. Back to work tomorrow training and most likely we will see you at The Warrior Games in Ashland. Thank you to Rockys Dojo for putting on the fights so guys can go get some experience. Its a huge pain in the ass dealing with fighters and coaches between the whining, and no show bs. Its definitely a job I dont envy.

The little gym strikes again! It was a great day at Grappling Industries Wisconsin Dells with both Quinton and Chase taking Bronze medals 🥉 in their first ever Jiu-Jitsu tournament. They each had full brackets so it wasn't a one and done affair. The athletes performances far exceeded all of our expectations. I am so proud of them both. I also just enjoy that our little gym creates absolute monsters that crush people from the big fancy McDojos that charge them an arm and a leg and treat them like a number. Thats why Fight Club is amazing! We build them in small batches and just like a Spartan Army there aren't many of us but what we lack in numbers we make up with in discipline and excellent training. Thank you again to everyone who assisted and to everyone who came today to support! All the regulars were there to support the athletes. We have the best group around as far as I'm concerned and the care and effort I see all of us putting into helping each other achieve greatness is a dream I have long held and am thrilled to no end to see coming to fruition! Good luck today to Quinton Wiese and Chase Maier as they compete in their first Jiu-Jitsu tournament at Grappling Industries Wisconsin Dells. You both did an excellent job getting in all the work for the last 8 weeks of this camp. Looking forward to seeing you put all the effort to work today. Also a special thanks to everyone who assisted in the training and also everyone coming up today to support them. Combat Sports are individual competitions but it takes a whole team to help you achieve greatness. 🥋😁🤘🏻💪🏻🇺🇸
