The Johnnies take home their 3rd win of the season! We bowled 9 team games and 8 baker games over 2 days and 2 different oil patterns at Lodi Lanes this weekend. Huge shoutout to Andrew Hall for placing 3rd Individually and Brandon Soedarmasto for finishing 2nd! The hard work continues as the Johnnies finish up their finals and head back on the lanes for Christmas Tournaments. @ Lodi Lanes Bowling

The 33rd annual St. John's Bowling Alumni Doubles Tournament will be taking place this Sunday, November 24th at South Levittown Lanes, beginning at 1:00pm. All former members of the team are encouraged to attend our biggest fundraising event of the season. There will be three games of bowling followed by a buffet lunch and raffles. Please let us know if you plan on coming!

The Johnnies took home the gold at the second EIBT Tournament at Farmingdale yesterday! After 4 great team games of 1000+ each game, we were ahead of the field heading into the last 15 baker games and managed to keep our lead and win by over 100 pins! Big shout out to Michael Mirabile who finished 1st Individually overall and Andrew Hall who finished 2nd.

Tryouts for the 2019-20 St. John's Bowling Team are set for this upcoming weekend, September 14 & 15 at Farmingdale Lanes. We will begin both days at 9:15am and you MUST attend both days in order to be considered for the team. This past weekend, three of the five All-Tournament Team members at the Northeast Classic in Lodi, NJ came from St. John's. These bowlers were also three of the only five bowlers in the field to go plus for the 9-game event. Mike Mirabile placed 4th with a 1,805 series, Brandon Soedarmasto finished 3rd at 1,823 and Tom Burke took 1st place with a 1,841 set. As a team, SJU finished 3rd.

St. John's earned their 3rd EIBC Conference Championship victory in four years yesterday! After 14 team game matches and 20 baker games through three different competition dates, the team finished with 114.5 total points to win by 16 points. GJ Lasala earned 2nd team all-Conference, Brandon Soedarmasto earned the award for most match points won, Mike Mirabile was named Rookie of the Year, and Chris Vietri was named Player of the Year. All three earned first-team All-Conference honors, while Coach Delawski was also named Coach of the Year.

The 32nd Annual St. John's Bowling Alumni Doubles tournament is taking place this Sunday, November 11 at South Levittown Lanes. All former SJU bowlers are encouraged to attend and support the current team, and a buffet lunch will be served after the 3 game tournament is over. Message us with any questions!

The team competed in the Brunswick Southern Collegiate Classic this past weekend in Marietta, GA, our first Tier 1 event of the year. Freshman Mike Mirabile won the tournament individually, leading the field with a 1,357 total pinfall on Saturday. He threw a Phaze 2 all six games.
