We have ONE OPENING LEFT for bird hunters for 2026.

We are looking for either one group of 8 - 10 hunters OR two smaller groups of 4 - 6 hunters for late October/early November - Let us know what dates work best for you.

As always, we are a completely inclusive Craig Boddington Endorsed Outfitter offering lodging, meals, guides, dogs, field transport and game care.

ONLY WILD BIRDS! No released birds here!

Today is the last day to apply for the West River Special Buck Tag.

What makes this tag so special? It's good for any one private land whitetail OR mule deer buck. That type of flexibility can come in handy when you're in South Dakota!

Don't just take it from us! Our clients visit us to experience the best bird hunting in the country and we deliver!

As always, we only hunt free range, wild birds. After we shoot a limit of roosters, we offer upland grouse and partridge hunting at no extra charge.

We welcome hunters from the single do-it-yourselfer to groups of up to 10 at a time. Even if some of your party isn't into hunting, they can still come hang out at the ranch!

We are Booking 2026 & 2027 Big Game Clients!

All inclusive 4 day/4 nights in northwest South Dakota. Private land, no high fences.

West River Special Buck tags are good for either a whitetail or a mule deer buck - and we have plenty of both! This hunt requires 1-2 preference points to draw a tag (3 guaranteed), much better than other western states.

We are loaded with WILD PHEASANTS and UPLAND BIRDS and we hunt them hard too. We welcome custom hunts, so if you tag out and want to wingshoot, that can be arranged.

Friends, we are now booking bird hunters for the 2026 & 2027 seasons!

As you know, we only hunt wild, free range pheasants and upland birds. When our clients hunt with us they have ample opportunity at pheasants and if/when they limit out, we put them on Sharp-tailed Grouse and Hungarian Partridge at no extra cost.

Our bird hunts are 3 days / 3 nights with pricing varying from $3,200 - $3,450. We are an all inclusive outfitter so no need to worry about anything other than your aim.

We offer private land hunts and ensure you are the only group hunting at that time. Each year we limit our hunting guests to only a handful of groups to limit pressure and ensure quality wildlife management for years to come.
