One of several upgrades to your factory Re*****on 700 action is trueing of the receiver face. This service ensures that the receiver face is uniform and true to the lugs with-in the receiver.

We also recommend performing this procedure to Tikka’s, because of the lack of contact between the receiver face and barrel shoulder. Because the receiver has a heavy chamfer leading into the contacting interface, by turning the receiver face .050”, it builds over twice as much surface contact.
