LGRA Community! We need your help in finding the ideal Baseball Coordinator who can assist us in making our baseball program just that much better!
A couple of things to note:
⚡️Our entire board of directors are comprised solely of volunteers. This position will be granted and appointed by the BOD and is also a volunteer position. No compensation of any kind should be requested or expected. This is simply a way to be involved in our park/program and to give back to the youth of our community.
⚡️The ideal candidate for this role is someone who would be able to network with multiple other associations as our baseball league does not play in the HCPR league. This means we work with outside associations to develop a fair schedule for our teams.
⚡️This person must not be affiliated with any outside and/or travel organizations to ensure the fairness of all teams and to maintain the integrity of our recreational program.
⚡️This person must be organized, holds a quick response time, and has the availability in his/her schedule to attend meetings outside of normal working hours and to be present every so often at the ballfields.
⚡️This person must be able to get along with others, represent our park and program in a positive manner and will report to our BOD.

⚾Registration has been extended until 8-15 🥎

Fall 2026 Registration IS OPEN‼️

> Softball is based out of Tanger Station Park in Locust Grove
> Weeball (3/4 years old) is based out of Tanger Station Park in Locust Grove
> 6U baseball is based out of Tanger Station Park in Locust Grove
> 8U-17U baseball is based out of Red Hawk Park in McDonough due to ongoing construction at Warren Holder

We were also hoping the construction at Warren Holder would be completed prior to the fall season, but we were told that it will likely be towards the end of the fall prior to it's completion. Please note that it is out of our hands as we are not involved in construction; we simply lease the fields from Henry County Park & Recreation in order to provide our program. Once we have the clear for the grand opening of Warren Holder, we will look to host a Grand Event to welcome everyone back to our home fields
