Update from our maintenance team at IGM at Lake of the Woods Golf Course Maintenance

As we continue to experience cooler temperatures, you may notice that our Bermuda tees and fairways are slower to grow and fill in. Bermuda thrives in warmer conditions, so until temperatures consistently rise, growth will remain limited.

In contrast, our greens—comprised of Bentgrass and Poa annua—perform best in cooler weather. That’s why you’re seeing strong, healthy conditions on the greens while other areas of the course are still waking up.

We appreciate your patience as we transition into the growing season and look forward to continued improvement as temperatures warm up.

Attention LOW Golf members—due to a scheduling conflict with Friday Night Fish Fry, there will be no Couples 9 & Dine on May 1.
