🔥 Hot Corner Athletics Welcomes Coach Jake Harford to the Staff! 🔥
We’re thrilled to announce the addition of Jake Harford as a new pitching coach! A proven competitor with extensive experience on the mound, Coach Harford brings elite pitching knowledge, fire and passion to help athletes succeed at the next level.
Playing Career Highlights:
• Fredonia State University (SUNY Fredonia)
• Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) – Welland Jackfish – Competitive independent league experience
• Additional pro/independent appearances in PECO & Can-Am leagues
Key Stats (via Baseball-Reference):
• College career: 3.73 ERA over 72.1 IP with 62 strikeouts
• Strong 2017 season at Fredonia: 3.97 ERA, 38 K in 45.1 IP
• Independent ball: Solid outings including a 1.17 ERA in PECO League action

Over the last few months, many of our athletes have already had the opportunity to work with Ethan Stevens, and we couldn’t be more excited about the impact he’s making at Hot Corner Athletics.
A Lockport native and former collegiate player at Erie Community College and Ashland University, Ethan brings a unique combination of playing experience, baseball knowledge, and passion for developing young athletes.
Whether he’s working with hitters, pitchers, or fielders, Ethan’s focus is always the same: helping athletes build confidence, improve fundamentals, and learn how to compete the right way.
What we’ve appreciated most is his ability to connect with players of all ages. Ethan understands what it takes to advance through the game because he’s lived it himself, and he’s committed to helping the next generation of athletes reach their goals.
If you’re looking to develop your skills, improve your baseball IQ, and work with someone who genuinely cares about player development, Ethan is a great resource for athletes throughout Western New York.

Hot Corner Athletics is excited to welcome Dan Brick to our baseball instruction staff for the summer.
Dan brings a unique combination of high-level playing experience, championship coaching success, and a passion for player development. A former Division I player at both Niagara University and the University of Miami, Dan posted a .345 collegiate batting average and has built an impressive coaching resume throughout Western New York.
Most recently, Dan helped lead SUNY Niagara Baseball to its first NJCAA Division III National Championship in program history. His experience as a collegiate catcher, coach, and mentor gives players valuable insight into every aspect of the game—from hitting and defense to baseball IQ and competitive preparation.
Private lessons are now available for youth, high school, and aspiring collegiate athletes.

BASEBALL: Perry downs Mount Morris as Ollerton, Briggs, Koson, Pritchard, and Siewert celebrate senior night.

LCAA’s FINEST
PERRY– Host Perry came away with the 13-3 win against Mt Morris on Thursday on senior night.
The Yellowjackets had several players with multiple hits.
Parker McGarvey went over 100 career strikeouts with 102 career K’s as he picked up the victory.
Perry coach Kris Goodell said, “Good job, kid, way to work hard.”
Perry also swiped 20 bases in the game.
Defensively, David Ollerton made an amazing catch in the outfield and stole 3 bases with 1 run scored.
Goodell added, “I'm proud of how the team is playing and growing I can't say it enough, but I'm so proud. The boys have improved. Perry baseball is proving that they are a team not to take lightly.”
Perry seniors include Ollerton, Walker Briggs, Tyler Koson, Jayden Pritchard and Max Siewert.
Perry improved to 9-6 on the season.
