I never thought I'd be here teaching yoga with crazy cute and cuddly puppies running around but here we are. I've met some of the coolest people, too. I am going to try to bring it to Buffalo! Pray for me 🐾🐕

Yo' girl was NOT herself today.

I took the kids to their last annual holistic wellness appointment in VA📍an hour away from home. Our appointment was at 2:00pm. We just got home at 6:30pm.

During said visit, our doctor decided to tell us about all of the harmful effects using CGM's and bluetooth enabled insulin pumps can have on the body, brain and nervous system of a type 1 diabetic. AS IF WE GET A CHOICE TO USE THESE.

Anyways.

I came home and locked myself away for 15 minutes and felt MUCH better.

A warm bath + EMDR-style bilateral music = one of my favorite ways to reset when I'm feeling dysregulated. 🛁✨

Slowing down, tuning into the music, and taking a few intentional breaths can help bring you back to the present moment and support a calmer nervous system. Sometimes the smallest rituals make the biggest difference. 💛

Don't underestimate the yoga strap. ✨

A few gentle movements can help improve shoulder, chest, and upper back mobility while creating more awareness through the arms and posture.

Try side stretches, shoulder pass-throughs, and gentle elbow bends to explore your range of motion and release tension from hours spent sitting, driving, scrolling, or carrying all the things. 💛

Move slowly. Breathe deeply. Let mobility be a form of self-care.
