They'll provide everything you need, and the weather looks perfect for an afternoon on the river right here in town. Fall will be here before you know it -- get out and enjoy the water while you can!

Grab a friend and escape to the water! Every Friday in September, BEV Kayak is offering an open paddle around the Lock Haven waterfront area or a 2-hour paddle downstream into Lock Haven for just $15 per person.

Bring in your new/gently used outdoor gear 11-6 today or 11-7 tomorrow (Friday)-- we'll add it to the sale and you'll get store credit for any items that sell.

Gorgeous day for a paddle down the hill and around the island with some of the Rox and River crew. That upstream section just about got us 🥵 but it's all worth it when you've got Birch waiting for you at the end! 🐾

Got some unneeded outdoor gear clogging up your space??

Bring it in to our Trail Gear Exchange collection days TODAY and TOMORROW and get store credit for your unwanted items (you might even help someone new to the outdoors gain access to some amazing adventures!)

🥾 Today 11-7 and tomorrow (Sat) 10-6: ⛺
Bring your new or gently used (in working condition) gear to Rox and River. If it passes our solid gear review, you'll fill out a quick gear exchange form, name your price, and we'll tag it and add it to next weekend's sale. The Gear Exchange event will take place NEXT Friday and Saturday, so you'll want to be sure to get that gear in ahead of time! Then come shop the sale next Friday and Saturday for awesome discounts on OTHER gear you might want or need!

At the end of the sale dates, you'll receive your sale total (minus a 20% exchange fee) in the form of R+R store credit for your sold items. Use that credit toward any Rox and River purchase. If your items don't sell, stop back in by Sept 5th to collect them -- or opt to receive our fair purchase price offer in the form of R+R store credit.

🎒 For this event, we'll happily accept new and gently used: 🎒
- Hydration packs and belts, Overnight packs, day packs
- Trail sneakers and boots
- Running and hiking poles
- Rain jackets, camp jackets
- Gaiters and reflective running items
- Tents, sleeping pads, and sleeping bags
- Camp stoves and other camping items

Unfortunately we cannot accept:
- Socks, shirts, hats, or apparel other than jackets
- Headlamps or sunglasses
- Any item that is NOT in good, working condition
- Items that are damaged or missing pieces

Please note: All gear exchange sales are final. All unsold gear must be collected within 2 weeks of the final sale date if you select that option on your exchange form (any uncollected items will be considered a donation). Fair price offers are non-negotiable.

Congrats to all the Eastern States 100 runners this weekend! So happy to see so many of you stop into the store this weekend on your way through town. Didn't catch photos of everyone, but we did get to snag a whole bunch of you before you hit that start line. Loved hearing about all of your training and adventures along the way that brought you out to this wild race!

We're grateful to have a trail event of this caliber right in our backyard, and our little Rox and River crew is proud to chip in the time to help make it successful. We got out there to flag some of the course, clear trails, help out at the water crossing into the wee hours Saturday night, and cheer folks on all weekend long. We also had the joy of making all the race shirts for this year's crop of runners! Thanks to the entire ESTEA team, all the volunteers, and the runners for making this an unforgettable weekend every year!
