🏅 State Championship Recap! 🏅
Last Saturday, Ella, Kyle, and Xavier represented Ephrata XC at the PIAA State Cross Country Championships in Hershey — and they absolutely crushed it! 💜💛

Each of them ran an incredible race on one of the toughest courses in the state, showcasing grit, heart, and true Mountaineer spirit. We couldn’t be more proud of their hard work, dedication, and everything they’ve accomplished this season.

Ella: Finished 34th overall, improving five places from 39th last year. 3rd overall finisher from LL league and 7th from district three.

Xavier: Finished 82nd overall in first states race. 6th overall finisher from LL league and 11th from district three.

Kyle: Finished 92nd overall, improving 44 places from 137th last year. 8th overall finisher from LL league and 14th from district three.

Help us congratulate them on an amazing finish to an unforgettable year! 👏💪

Twas the Night Before States – Ephrata XC Edition

’Twas the night before States and all through the town,
The runners were resting, not making a sound.
Their spikes had been cleaned and their uniforms laid,
Their training was done — the foundation was made.

The team was all buzzing, excitement in air,
For Ella, for Kyle, for Xavier — we’ll be there!
With dreams of that finish line clear in their heads,
They’ll race with their hearts, just like their coach said.

The bus leaves at dawn, there’s no time to be late,
They’ve earned this big moment — it’s time to be great.
So rest up, dear runners, tomorrow’s your day,
Run strong, run proud — go Mounts all the way! 💜💛

🏅 District 3 Championships = DONE! 🏅
Huge congratulations to our Ephrata XC boys and girls teams on an incredible day at the District 3 Championship yesterday! 💜💛 Every single athlete showed grit, heart, and Mountaineer pride out on that course — and we are SO proud of all of you!

The future is bright in purple and gold.
Our Ephrata Middle School Cross Country team capped off their season at the Lock Haven University PA Middle School Cross Country Championships—a big stage, a fast course, and a ton of heart from every Mountaineer who toed the line.

This group showed what it means to compete with pride, finish with grit, and earn everything.

First, thank you to everyone who supported Ephrata XC by stopping by for coffee this morning.

The athletes repaid your kindness this afternoon at the LL League XC Championship Meet through both the girls AND boys TEAMS qualifying for the PIAA District III race on October 25th. Girls return for the fourth year in a row, while the guys’ team laces up for first time since 2019.

The coaching staff are extremely proud of their dedication, effort, grit, discipline, and unity. Big things to come! Here we come, Big Spring! 🏃 🏃‍♀️
