Hello Lake County Channel Cats Community!

We would like to take a moment to inform you that Channel Cats is taking a break this year. We will not hold lessons or the swim team for the summer of 2025. Channel Cats has been active in the community for over 75 years. We have weathered many challenges: losing our swim site, COVID, and waning community involvement. Channel Cats is an amazing program worth working hard for. We have decided that over this year, we will be creating a "Restructuring Committee." We are hoping to recruit past Channel Cats families and community members who want to see this program thrive in the future. If you are interested, please message us. We will be announcing our first meeting in the next couple of weeks. Let's work together to make this program strong for another 75 years.

**Reminder** Awards Ceremony tonight (8/14) at 6 pm. Each swimmer will receive a participation award. Food is provided and please bring your own chairs. Free swim with supervision after awards until 8 pm! Hope to see you all there!!!

Sign up for swim lessons or swimming conditioning on Tuesday and Wednesday this week from 5:30 to 6:30 at Loch Lomond Pool. Each sign-up also gets a membership to the Loch Lomond Pool that can be used all summer. See you at the pool!

The Channel Cats will be back in Loch Lomond this summer. Please take a look at the flyer for sign-up dates and information. All kids signing up for swim lessons or lap swimming will also receive a family pool membership that can be used all summer at the Loch Lomond pool. See you at the pool!
