Reminder: Metro United Karate is CLOSED 8/31 - 9/07. Re-opening Tues. Sept. 8th with our regularly scheduled programming.
5:30pm - trial lessons + white belts.
6:00pm - Gold belts/Novice
6:45pm - Intermediate/Advanced.

*Please note: there will be adult fitness kickboxing Tues. & Thurs. at 7:30pm 🥊

(Metro United Karate closes/observes all federal holidays. In addition, we close approximately 5-weeks throughout the calendar year to offset the 5-months that have 5-weeks. Weeks such as, the conclusion of the academic school year, back to school, Thanksgiving break, 2-weeks Christmas break).

Wishing all my Bulldog/Karate students (big and small) a successful 1st day of school. May you have eager educators, supportive parents and safe environments that foster the best learning experience possible.

For my parents/instructors/fellow educators- show up with lots of grace, patience and the foundational principles that support discipline, focus and integrity.

I have one more week of Professional Development here and I’ll be off to the races as well 👊🏾

This is my why 🥹
Some years ago, this young man entered our school a shy, reserved “cryer”. But my goodness - his developments are astounding ⭐️. The confidence, command presence and leadership abilities have flourished.

So often, too many of us compare growth to surroundings. But growth is your OWN ❤️. Let your kids enjoy the different seasons of their lives/martial arts experience. Sometimes the growth shows up in class, sometimes it’s at tournaments, or maybe in school or home. It may be easy to notice when it’s physical strength but don’t overlook the mental and emotional developments.

Today I lost my voice while working with the kids but… Sebastian found his!!! So, when you see him, congratulate him on a job well done. Thank you young sir! 👊🏾 — with Dallas Allison and 22 others.
