Founded in 2015, the LHS Dance Team strives to promote dance in the Livingston community. While the team primarily focuses on hip-hop, it aspires to introduce other genres of dance such as ballet and jazz to fellow members and viewers.

Hello everyone! All of us from the LHS Dance Team hope that your summer is going well! With that being said, a new school year is beginning next month, so we would like to announce next year's executive board for the team! The board members for the 2017-2018 school year will be as follows:

Co-Presidents: Rhianna Bhatia, Reigne Villanueva
Co-Vice Presidents: Carly Weiss, Sydney Muench
Secretary: Caitlin Huang
Treasurer: Elizabeth Chow

We welcome all of the mentioned members to the team board and we wish them the best of luck this school year! Thank you all for your love and support!

In honor of its graduated senior members, the LHS Dance Team organized a white and denim photoshoot at Hillside Elementary School last week. Each day we will post a picture of one senior member to recognize their accomplishments as a dance team member. Today, we honor Co-President Katie De Guzman!

Participated dance(s): Senior Pep Rally, French Culture Night, Multicultural Night (Latin + Fan), Lip Sync Battle, Fall Pep Rally, 10/7 Football Game

The second half of the founding duo for the dance team, Katie played a significant role in recruiting new members to the team, most notably from the musical theater community. As Co-President and Dance Coordinator, she choreographed numerous sections of dances for performances. This coming school year, Katie will be studying nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, hoping to one day become a nurse practitioner. As for dance, she plans on continuing her involvement in musical theater and taking more dance classes of different genres. We thank Katie for her immense involvement in the dance team and wish her the best of luck in the future!
