In Livingston we are very fortunate to have such a strong rec program that provides so many opportunities to get kids moving and involved in sports, including basketball. Almost from our inception, we’ve been working hand in hand with Maggie and team, and are grateful for their help and insight into getting our program off the ground and providing us a space to practice and call “home”.
As we get our program rolling, there are a few things to know that differentiate our program from the rec league.
Rec Basketball is great for:
🏀 those who are new to the sport, and are in need of developing basic skills
🏀 those who want to play, but sign up for more of the social and movement aspect versus competitive basketball
🏀 those who are looking for a guaranteed spot on a roster
Yellowstone Nighthawk Basketball is great for:
🏀 those who have a foundation of skills and understanding of the game, and are looking to continue to develop those
🏀 those who are looking to compete against other traveling teams who are of a higher caliber in regards to skill level and playing experience
🏀 those who are looking to be more competitive
🏀 those who are ready to demonstrate that their level of skill is appropriate to qualify for a spot on the roster
Between the two of our programs, there’s space for every Park County hooper. We look forward to serving our youth alongside the Rec department for years to come!
