We made it back home safely from Vegas, and while things didn’t go our way in bringing home the win, we are incredibly grateful for the experience.

Coach Daniel Brown and Jeremiah Rangel both stepped onto the mats at the World Masters with courage, determination, and a willingness to test themselves at one of the highest levels. There were lessons learned, areas exposed that need work, and definitely some humbling moments — but that’s what growth is all about. They both came home knowing exactly what they need to work on to continue bettering their game.

Sometimes the biggest victories aren’t the ones that come with a medal. They’re the experiences that challenge you, humble you, and make you hungrier to come back better.

Most importantly, we want to say THANK YOU to every single person who supported these two guys along the way. The messages, encouragement, prayers, shares, and support meant more than we could ever put into words. The love our Silverback Martial Arts family has shown has been absolutely incredible.

We are truly honored and blessed to call all of you family. 🦍❤️

Vegas gave us lessons. Now it’s back to work. 💪

WORLD MASTER 2026 — LAS VEGAS, NEVADA 🦍🥋

I have to take a moment to brag on Daniel Brown and Jeremiah Rangel as they get ready to represent Silverback Martial Arts at the IBJJF World Master Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Las Vegas!

I’ve had the privilege of watching firsthand just how much work has gone into getting to this point.

Daniel puts countless hours into not only his own training, but into running our gym, teaching his students, helping them grow, and pushing them to become better every day. Even with all of those responsibilities, he continues to challenge himself as a competitor and lead by example.

And then there’s Jeremiah. Watching one of our own students put in the work, stay dedicated, and earn the opportunity to travel with us and compete on the World Master stage makes this trip even more special. He and Daniel have both trained incredibly hard for this moment, and I couldn’t be more proud to see them representing Silverback together.

I also want to give a huge THANK YOU to Professor Trent Draper for taking the time to come to Silverback and train with our team. Having someone willing to share his knowledge, experience, and time as these guys prepare for Worlds means more than we can say. We truly appreciate you investing in our team. ❤️

Now the work has been done. The hours have been put in. It’s almost time to step on those mats and leave it all out there.

No matter what happens in Vegas, these two have already given us plenty to be proud of.

A big thank you to Lake Life Brewery LLC for letting us have our Summer Bash party there! We had a great time! Thank you Papa D's Sho-nuff BBQ for feeding us, and thank you Glammas Tasty Treats for the much-needed sweet treats! We hope everyone enjoyed their day!

We are SUPER excited to be having our SUMMER BASH Lake Life Brewery LLC where our gym members can indulge in the BEST BBQ around Papa D's Sho-nuff BBQ and grab a sweet treat from Glammas Tasty Treats along with pizza and a good ole Sammich . We look forward to a great time hope to see our gym members there to soak up the sun and do a little tubing! 💪🏼💪🏼✅
