is a Montana Incorporated, 501c(3) non-profit organization providing educational opportunities in Montana. We provide wilderness awareness/education classes, educational programs, home school support and therapeutic opportunities. Originally Tierra Ranch founded by Sasha Squires in 2001, and later Incorporated as the non profit MAERA, we have over 20 years of experience working with youth, famili

es and adults both inside the classroom and out in nature. M.A.E.R.A is dedicated to helping, healing and creating sustainability in communities and works with other businesses, it is one thing that is stable in the economic downturn. It seems that especially now, people need hope, healing and some new and fun experiences in their lives and M.A.E.R.A is dedicated to providing that to people through our program. M.A.E.R.A also is not in competition with other business and we are deigned to help business in communities not compete with them. M.A.E.R.A is created to be a sustainable non-profit that will continue to grow over the years. Our goals are to help communities, people and horses alike. We have the opportunity to make positive and significant changes in the State of Montana by helping families, individuals and the community grow, learn and heal. M.A.E.R.A. will help the community in so many ways and bring people and businesses together, as well as help other business be successful and grow.

MAERA (501c3) has been offering free programs in Montana for the last 13 years and is excited for our 2024 summer programming!
LOCATION: Livingston (Paradise Valley)

June 24-29th: entering 5th-12th grade: Survival Essentials Overnight

June 30-July 4th: entering 5th grade and up: Archery and Tracking
Overnight

FULL July 23-27: 6th grade and up: Back Country Horse Camp: limited to 8 riders: Reservation fee required due to limited spots
