Yesterday we visited the Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives. 📚📰
It was such a neat experience!
The staff were so kind and helpful. ✨

The girls were set up with legos while I was assisted with making copies.📄

Now I am ready to deep dive into all things Highland City, where 10,000+ people lived during the peak of the ‘gold rush.’ ✨🌄✨

I immediately recognized the cemetery & brewery buildings in these pictures from our investigations of Highland City that we’ve already done.

We had a substantial ‘winter’ storm up here in The Highlands over the weekend (elevation 6,500’). This trestle bridge is part of the area’s rich gold history. We are lucky to drive under it any time we go to town or come home. ✨🌄✨
