Livermore Martial Arts Academy (LMAA) teaches a blended martial arts program consisting of a variety of disciplines which cover striking, grappling and weapons for a well rounded self defense system. LMAA offers Krav Maga for self defense for men and women 16 and up. Our classes will help us target each student’s stages of development even more than before! Through scientific research and psycholo

gical developments, our new age-specific classes will provide MAXIMUM results in the classroom. Why do we say that our new age-specific classes can generate maximum results? An international study was done to understand the growth and development stages of children between the ages of 3 to 14. Children were evaluated on the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional stages. From those results, a comprehensive format for martial arts education was created for 3 & 4-year olds, 5 & 6-year olds, 7 to 9-year olds, and 10 to 14-year olds. What does this mean for your child? Our classes are going to target your child’s skills and abilities even more than before! This means that our classes will target the students’ stages of development to the point where each class will not be too challenging or too easy - each class should be just right! Our goal is to have each student leaving class feeling stronger and more confident in every class!

There are few things more rewarding as instructors than hearing words like these from someone who grew up in our academy.

Sensei Missael spent 13 years as a student and 3 years as an instructor at Livermore Martial Arts Academy. Watching him grow not only as a martial artist, but into the person and leader he is today, has been an incredible privilege.

Martial arts has never just been about punches, kicks, belts, or trophies. It’s about character, discipline, confidence, respect, and family.

Missael, thank you for these incredibly kind words. Mrs. B and I are proud of you, and you will always be part of the LMAA family. ❤️🥋
