Training today with Shihan Juan Larios at the International Karate Sh*to Ryu Federation Dojo in Downtown Los Angeles. Everyone worked very hard and learned a lot. Today was Alex’s first tournament and he had a great showing. 1st place in Kata and 2nd place in Kumite. Congratulations on a job well done.

The test tonight was a hard battle. To those who passed, congratulations. You did a great job. To those who did not pass, always remember the famous Japanese proverb "Fall down seven times, stand up eight". Never give up and come back stronger. I have faith in you, you will overcome this obstacle.
