Proud of the hard work these boys have been putting in to get ready for the 12U season.

Getting stronger. Getting faster. Getting better. Getting closer as a team. They’re pushing each other, encouraging each other, and learning that getting better doesn’t just happen when you’re on a baseball field.

Still plenty of work ahead, but it’s been fun watching this group embrace it together.

‼️Tallahassee Tide 12U Baseball - Limited Roster Openings‼️

We have a couple of roster openings for the upcoming season and are looking for the right fit.

We’re not holding a formal tryout. That’s never really been how we’ve built this team. Instead, we’d like to connect with interested families, learn more about the player, and potentially invite a few kids to join us for a practice or informal workout.

The Tide is a development-first team that plays a competitive AAA schedule, so we’re looking for players who already have a strong baseball foundation and want to work, learn, and show up consistently. Because practice and team connection matter to us, we’re especially interested in local or nearby players who can be part of what we’re building week to week.

We care about effort, attitude, coachability, and being a great teammate - not just talent.

We want baseball to be competitive and challenging, but also positive, fun, and kept in perspective.

🏆 What a Weekend of Baseball! ⚾️

Huge shout out to all the 10U teams who showed up and showed out at the Capital City Showdown: Destin Knights, Tallahassee Heat, Tallahassee Renegades, Tallahassee Bombers! 💪

And we couldn’t be prouder of our boys—the Tallahassee Tide. 🌊 You played your hearts out. You left it all on the field. And yes—the loss was a gut-punch. It stung. It meant something because you cared, because you fought hard for each other, and because you believed.

That’s what makes this game so powerful—it teaches us how to compete with everything we’ve got, and how to carry ourselves with pride, even when the scoreboard doesn’t reflect the heart we showed.

When both sides are cheering on all the boys, recognizing effort, hustle, and heart regardless of the jersey—it reminds us what baseball is all about. That kind of sportsmanship builds confidence, character, and community. That kind of energy is contagious.

Let’s keep being those kinds of teams and fans - the ones who cheer loud for both sides, support each other, and model what good sportsmanship looks like. Our boys are watching—and learning from us every step of the way.

👏 Congratulations to the Tallahassee Heat for taking home the championship! Well earned!

🙏 🙏 Huge thanks to the umpires and the field crew for keeping things running smoothly and giving our kids such a great place to play.
