It’s that time of year! Remember if you do not have a current physical and an ekg heart screening on file you may not participate until you do.

Physicals must be updated annually. EKGs need to be done once in middle school and once in high school.

High schoolers if you believe you have one on file already please let Coach Allen or your coaches know.

Middle schoolers please see Mrs. Hitt or Coach Stebbins to check on physicals and EKG status if you believe you have one already on file.

We are still in need of an Adult who is willing to be at all home football games on Friday nights to assist coaches and players with set up and break down of our snow-cone table.

***Important Information about Physicals & EKG being offered at SHS***

SHS will be hosting a Sports Physicals & EKG event on May 26th from 9am-3pm at the SHS Auditorium. Parking will be in the bus compound (Marymac St) and you will enter through the Gym Lobby at the back of the school.

Physicals are being offered for Free courtesy of Palms Medical Group, but a Physical Packet must be completed before an exam will be done. You can pick those packets up at SMS or SHS, or complete one the day of. Remember that these forms require parent signature so plan accordingly.

EKG's are being done by WWPF for $20 and an appointment must be scheduled. Please sign up via the QR Code on the flyer. Please note that per newly established FHSAA guidelines all athletes must have 1 EKG done during middle school and 1 during their high school career. So if you have already had one completed during those times, it is not required. If you are a rising 6th or 9th grader you 100% need one.

Please take advantage of this opportunity as a physical is good for 1 calendar year; meaning your student-athlete will be covered for the entirety of the 2026-2027 school year.

Free Sports Physicals will be offered at Suwannee High School
Tues., 5/26 from 9-3.

Reminder: Physicals are only good for one year and must be current to condition, tryout or play for the middle or high schools.

You also must have an EKG once for the middle school and then once again for the high school. This is in addition to a sports physical.
