May 4th is National Fitness Day. This is a great time to commit to strengthening your muscles and your mind. Even a few days a week of resistance training can help you preserve muscle, feel energized and move with confidence. When most of us think of resistance training, we think weight training, but did you know that body weight exercises and resistance bands are also just as effective. We also think we may need to spend hours a day in the gym to see results but really 30 minutes can also effective.
