Beginner judo? Here’s something almost everyone gets wrong at first: gripping way too tight and muscling through a throw. It might feel strong, but it slows you down and puts you off balance. At Mile High Judo, our coaches teach you to relax your grip, breathe, and let your technique do the work. Judo is about efficiency: using leverage, timing, and movement, not brute force.
