International Youth Ballet

International Youth Ballet We believe that performance experience is vital to further the artistic growth and development of young dancers.

IYB exists to educate and foster a love of dance in young audiences through the creation and presentation of original ballets performed by students of the International Ballet School. International Youth Ballet is the one of a few select youth companies in the United States that works with professional dancers and choreographers to create and produce full length original ballets performed by youth

dancers. We are unique in being able to offer pre-professional dance students the opportunity to develop as artists and learn professionalism while rehearsing and performing ballets that are held to the highest artistic standards. Audiences at our performances often comment, "Surely those dancers in the lead roles are professional," when in fact our lead dancers are students from 13-18 years of age. Our beautiful productions offer something for everyone. Young children are entranced by the spectacle and fantasy, while older children can identify with performers and envision themselves performing on stage. Nothing is more inspiring than seeing a group of hardworking, talented, and dedicated young people achieving their dreams, while fostering the dreams of others.
