With tournaments and other teams, my camp participants sometimes find themselves and very small sessions. While I could probably push everyone into three or maybe even two camps the size of most other camps and double my profits, the attention and support I am able to give each athlete is crucial if they want to get markedly faster and more skilled on their edges and is so much more rewarding. Just as much as I was a perfectionist when I was a speed skater, I am as much a perfectionist when it comes to the skaters I coach. I learned back then how to put in the work and do it correctly, and I am instilling that same attention to detail and work ethic in the athletes I coach. It taught me that success was unlimited if you're willing to do more than just go through the motions .
Getting to know each, and every one of these kids , whether they are a new participant or one that has been skating with me for years, I love getting to know them better and I love becoming an important part of their journey. I fully believe in each and every one of them being able to reach their goals. My moto has always been l will put as much effort into you as you put into your own development. Can't wait to see where everyone's journeys take them.
