After more than 20 years, severe weather unfortunately forced the cancellation of the 2025 Shootout of the South. While we’re disappointed the tournament couldn’t be completed, we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who made this year’s event possible.
Thank you to the teams who competed and brought outstanding sportsmanship to the field. A special thanks to the Pulaski Academy community for your commitment and the essential role you play in making this event what it is.

We’re also grateful to our offensive and defensive linemen, along with our junior high football team, for stepping up to serve—manning fields, assisting with parking, and handling essential duties over the past two days.
Thank you to the officials for keeping the games running smoothly, and to everyone behind the scenes whose dedication ensures this event remains one of the best.
