What a remarkable run for your Little Rock Women Stormers!

This weekend’s 34–29 clash with Knoxville Minx at Gulf Coast Super Regionals didn’t fall our way, but we walked out of Austin with pride and with heads held high knowing we left it all on the pitch.

This year was never just about wins and losses. It was about growth. It was about up as a squad, and building bonds and friendships that will carry on and that helped us all power through every step of this season. And in that sense, we delivered in a big way.

To our incredible coaches, Coach Kate Turpin and Coach Ciara Malone: your impact goes so far beyond the scoreboard. Thank you for challenging us, standing beside us, and believing in what we’re capable of (no matter where you were in the world 😉). You taught us how to push each other with care, how to strive for excellence while honoring who we are, and how to lead with compassion and strength. What you’ve built here is more than a team. It’s a family, and a place where ANYONE can feel like they belong.

This is our roster for today’s match! Our Stormer of the Week this week is Bre Tisdale! Bre returning to the pitch with the Stormers this year after a few seasons away, and boy has she made her return known! Her speed, quick thinking and quick hands are UNMATCHED on the pitch! If you blink you actually might miss her out there! Bre’s speeds talent, love and knowledge of the game and purely positive attitude have been a huge asset to the squad this season and we can’t wait to see her and the rest of this Stormers squad take the field tomorrow!

THE STORMERS HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!!!!! Your Stormers are bringing home the hardware once again as the D2 CHAMPIONS!!!!!! NEXT STOP: GULF COAST SUPER REGIONALS!!!!!

I mean…Where do we even begin?! These ladies went out there and left it ALL on the pitch today and got the job DONE. This was an incredibly hard fought match. put up an incredible fight and we are so grateful to have shared the pitch with them so many times this season. This was a game we will never forget. The level of performance throughout the entire game was next level. The fight truly never stopped the entire match. It was an incredible performance to witness from both sides!

There aren’t enough words to describe what an amazing season this has been, and will continue to be! We can’t thank all our opponents, teammates, and supporters enough for making this season another one to remember.

Our MVP of today’s match is none other than Chase Encalade! Ending the regular season exactly how she began it as our woman of the match! put on an AMAZING performance today at prop- even the commentators couldn’t help but notice her skill, strength and technique on the pitch! Her unrelenting determination, strength, and tenacity and her ability to “GET. IT. DONE.” all season is exactly what we strive for and practice all season to show! She is a true Stormer and we couldn’t help but recognize her as our MVP today.

Again, we want to extend a huge thank you to all of our fellow D2 teams, our supporters, and our sponsors that helped this regular season so incredible.

But remember! Our season isn’t over yet!!! Our next stop is the Gulf Coast Super Regional in Austin, TX on April 25th!

All our training has led us here. This is it. There is nothing left other than doing what we do best. Today, are bringing the Storm. Get ready.

Our Stormer of the week this week is Zena Bowman! Zena has been with the Stormers for 10 seasons! She dominates the pitch at flyhalf and is an absolute beast on the pitch! Her quick decision making, incredible leadership and confidence, skill and speed with ball in hand- all of these make Zena one of the most invaluable players on our squad. Her dedication to the game and to the team are always present, and she plays a an important leadership role for our squad and the backline. Zena’s dedication to the team and growth throughout her years as a Stormer are invaluable and she truly embodies what it means to be a rugby player and a Stormer. We are beyond lucky to have her!

We can’t wait to see what Zena and the Stormers do tomorrow in the championship match! We know it’s going to be something you don’t want to miss!

This video is a flashback to this time last year. And guess what? Get ready for some Déjà vu, because tomorrow at 1 PM, the Stormers once again go head-to-head with the San Antonio Riveters for the RRRC Championship.

The players on the pitch might have changed but our drive, our fight, our determination, our strength and our love of the game remain unwavering. We are still a team, a sisterhood and most importantly, we are, and always will be, the Stormers.

Tomorrow when the whistle blows and we stand locked in together, our focus won’t only be on the match in front of us—it’ll be on every step that brought us to this moment.

A win punches our ticket to Gulf Coast Super Regionals. But no matter how it ends, we’ve already earned something bigger—the trust we’ve built, the grit we’ve uncovered, and the sisterhood that holds us together.

Every hit, every sprint, every ounce of heart and belief we carry into this game is fueled by something deeper. A purpose. A fire. A reason we lace up.

We play for the teammates who never let us fall.

We play for the next generation learning what courage looks like.

We play for the ones who believed in us when it wasn’t easy to.

ANOTHA ONE!

The Diva Cup is coming back to Little Rock this year!

Your Stormers crushed it out on the pitch yesterday, bringing our regular season play to a close with another BIG VICTORY! This has been an incredible season for the Stormers and we aren’t slowing down now! NEXT STOP: D2 Championships!

HUGE shoutout to for putting on another incredible match day yesterday. It’s always such a blast playing with y’all and cant wait for next year’s rematch!

Our women of the match week are Mel Griffey, and our fearless captain, Abby Vestal! Both these Stormers left it all out on the pitch yesterday and showed us all how it’s done!

Tomorrow is game day do you know what that means!! Time for our Stormer of the Week! This week we are highlighting the ONE AND ONLY: STARR PRIDMORE!

Starr- while only being in her 2nd season with the Stormers- has quickly made herself a huge part of the heart and soul of this team! Starr has a drive, determination and strength on the pitch that never quits! Her physicality, charisma, presence and intensity on the field make her an almost unstoppable force. We are VERY glad she’s on our side.

No matter what is happening- on or off the pitch- Starr is almost always the first to laugh, the first to hype you up when you’re down and the last one to quit on the pitch. She has pretty much never met a stranger- which is why she has been an absolutely AMAZING Recruitment Coordinator on our Stormers Board this season! Starr has done an incredible job taking care of all our Rookies this season and making them feel part of the team and the Stormers family! We are the luckiest team in the world to have her on our squad!

If you’re in the Fayetteville area tomorrow don’t miss the chance to come party with Starr and the rest of the Stormers as we take on the Fayetteville Phoenix at 12:00 PM and compete for the 2026 Diva Cup! Another week and another absolute CLINIC from our Stormers!

The weather was beautiful, the rugby was gorgeous and the crowd was stunning! We cannot thank everyone enough for coming out to support our last home game of this season! We can’t wait to see everyone again next year! But our season isn’t done yet! We are headed to Fayetteville in a few weeks and then to conference championships next month!
