On this 1st Sunday morning of May. Grilling breakfast of Bear steak medalions and home raised eggs. I reflect on how lucky we are. And I give thanks to our lord. I may not have everything Ive wanted. But I have been blessed with everything I need.

This morning marks 3 years since our founder Gordy went to hunt big bears in the sky. We take time to reflect on why he loved the bear bait buisiness. He loved his customers. Each and every one of them. He ran this company with integrity. With pride. And with 1st class service. When I took the buisiness over. I vowed to continue the values that this company was founded on. Integrity to me is doing whats right. Even when nobody's looking. Gordy taught us that you're only as good as your word. And to always do whats right. He left us huge shoes to fill and we try every day to fill them. I am proud of how we have built upon the legacy he left behind. Im the 2nd generation but not the last. Gordy's grandson worked with him from the beginning as a young boy. And his grand daughter took Andrew's spot when he went off to serve his country in the USMC. Being a Vietnam war veteran. Gordy couldnt have been more proud of his grandson. Gordy served in the US Navy which fueled lots of banter between those 2. Quite fun to watch those 2 give each other s**t. Andrew will be re joining the buisiness in a full time roll when he finishes his duty to his country which would make Gordy proud. And in the years to come the 3rd generation will take the helm and continue Gordys legacy. We dont skimp on product volume or quality. We have never cut corners trying to be "the cheapest". We strive to give the best value in the buisiness. Best product for your hard earned dollar. Gordy never cut corners and we never will either. Gordy is missed every day. More than our founder. He was my Dad.

1st day bait testing. 7 and a half hours ago i put a tester of our killer Salted Nut Roll trail mix. And BOOM. Looks like this is gonna be a hot bait this year. We make this in house at Wildwood Bear Bait.
