First hunt of the year is officially in the books! 2026 is going to be great!

What better way for a company to bring their guys together than with a day of pheasant hunting, sporting clays, and a beautiful wild game feast at Rice Creek!

I’ve always had a dream of making our own pheasant stock instead of throwing away all those bones… so nothing will go to waste around here!

We’re turning those pheasant bones into homemade stock that will be used for our pheasant pot pies and while we wait for the stock to break down, we throw together two batches of duck chili!

It’s pretty cool to see something that would normally be thrown away turn into something delicious!

From the field ➡️ to the kitchen ➡️ to the plate… that’s how we do it at Rice Creek!

WE’RE HIRING!

Rice Creek is looking for a few hard-working people to join our processing plant team for the upcoming season!

We have part-time and seasonal opportunities available, with shifts that can work great around school or other commitments.

🔸 Starting at $15/hour
🔸 Higher starting wage possible based on experience
🔸 Time & a half on weekends
🔸 September–December seasonal work
🔸 On-the-job training provided

Work includes fine picking and packaging birds, as well as pulling and cutting birds.

If you’re looking for a job this fall, want to make some extra money, or know someone who would be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you!

I’m looking for a couple of ladies who would LOVE to shoot some sporting clays! I’d love to put together an ALL-GIRLS TEAM and have some fun! 💪🏼💥

The shoot is this coming Tuesday, August 11th, and it’s FREE to shoot! 🙌🏼
