10 Miles Gravel. 10 Miles Multi-Use Trail. 10 Miles Isle Du Bois.

That’s the basic formula behind Rudolph’s Revenge.

You start with 5 miles of fast gravel roads, where the pace gets high early.

Then the course transitions onto the 5 mile Multi-Use trail, where the terrain gets sandy, rocky, slower, and much more demanding.

From there, riders hit Isle Du Bois for roughly 10 miles of technical singletrack, including the rock gardens and expert sections that make IDB one of the toughest places to ride in North Texas.

Then you turn around and retrace your way back down the Multi-Use trail and Gravel to the finish.

Three completely different types of riding packed into one 30-mile race.

And if that isn’t enough, the 40-mile Hard Mode sends you back through the Isle Du Bois singletrack for another lap.

CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE!

30 MILES
The course starts with 5 miles of blistering-fast gravel, climbs onto a sandy and scenic multi-use trail, then drops riders into approximately 11 miles of technical Isle du Bois Trail DORBA singletrack, including both expert rock-garden sections on the D Loop. Then you have to turn around and earn your way back.

40 MILES — HARD MODE
Everything above, plus another lap through the Isle Du Bois singletrack before heading back.

Rudolph’s Revenge has sold out the last three years, and the field is limited to only 225 riders.

ARE YOU READY FOR REVENGE??

It's back, the 13th year of the DFW Series Rudolph's Revenge mountain bike race at Isle du Bois Trail DORBA and it's surrounding multi-use and greenbelt trails.

Choose the 30 mile race or if you want the extra challenge try the 40 mile race.

It's not just one race, it's 3 separate types of riding joined together into one long, challenging day! From blistering fast greenbelt gravel, to the sandpits of the multi-use trail and of course the technical rock garden climbs of the Isle du Bois Trail DORBA trail. This race checks all the boxes.

We are limited to 225 participants due to parking access and we have SOLD OUT the past 3 years.

Flow Motion Update:

There are some minor course changes to account for the construction of 2 ponds. Don't worry, it only removes the northern most section through the sun scorched field. All of the fast, flowing singletrack remains as fun as ever.

MacAttack lap time: 30:11

You can download the course at the link below. Juniors course remains the same and will be listed in the comments.

Adults will follow the full trail and all RED trail tape markings. Juniors will have 2 bypasses indicated by YELLOW trail tape. We will enjoy a sesame street lesson on colors and counting 1-4 for lap counts on Sunday in our pre-race meetings.
