Good morning everyone,
Welcome to the first day of the off-season. There will be no staff at the beach moving forward except our resident seagulls to mind your lunch. They will greet you accordingly to the sound of crinckling bags. Please note they aren't staffed by the Town of Little Compton... they just think they are.
The gate is open and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Parting shots for another great season by Brendalee Vanni O'Hara
Thank you to everyone who made the season memorable to anyone who patronized the beach this season. It isn't just the staff. But the culture that is curated here in Little Compton, on this magical stretch of sand that makes beach memories happen. Lots of times its your beach neighbor.
Year after year the fond memories of Labor Days past, flood back as the season turns cooler. The fire rings go out more abundantly for the night. And the sweatshirts come out earlier in the day.
As I sit this year far far away from Little Compton my head wraps around yet another successful, safe, beach season. With joy and admiration for the team around me I salute each and every one of them for the job they did in preserving not just your safety. But also carrying the torch of consideration, for each and everyone of you, the beach, and the Town.
I hope everyone has a safe and pleasurable off-season. We look forward to seeing all of you back again May 28, 2027. 263 days away lol
