Weekend Update: Great Wisconsin Cheese Festival is this weekend!

Saturday: All classes are CANCELLED as we will be marching in the Cheesefest Parade.

9:30 am: lineup at spot 18 on Wisconsin Ave behind Piggly Wiggly
Students should wear their gi pants and belt along with either their gi top or any Conquer T-shirt of their choice and shoes. Students can wear cheese hats or other cheesy paraphernalia as long as they are ok with wearing it or carrying it throughout the parade.

We will perform small karate combos while marching down the street that we will go over when lining up.

At the end of the parade, we will have popsicles available.

Sunday: Entry to the Cheese Festival is FREE on Sunday AND we will be performing demos!

11:30 am: The Conquer Crew and Team Conquer should meet in the park to prepare for their performance. Both teams will be wearing their full black uniforms.

12:30 pm. Our performance begins at the Kid’s Entertainment Tent. Feel free to come and watch and cheer us on as we perform and also, spread the word!

Both weapons and black belt classwill be using double nunchucks for this module.

Yesterday was our spring black belt test!

Congratulations to all of our new first and second degree black belts. Your new ranks were well earned!

Day 1 of the Infinity National Championships is in the books!

So far, Conquer has earned an astounding 31 medals including a gold for Team Conquer in the Team Demo division!

We're excited to see what day 2 brings!

Yesterday was special for two reasons.

1. It was Star Wars day (May the 4th) so we played some special lightsaber games.

2. Because Mr. Athey had some college tours to attend, Mr. Lehman was back as a guest instructor!

Last weekend we had Conquer competitors active across the country!

Mr. G was out at the Ocean State Grand Nationals in Rhode Island.

Bruce went west to the Minnesota State Karate Championships.

And Jaxon, Maddox, and I stayed a bit closer to home going to Lodi for the Capital City Classics.
