This tall Peugeot is available.

The bike has new tires, tubes, and rim strips, new cables, new cable housings, new brake pads, and new internal bearings.

It's an early 70's('71-'74) Peugeot UO-8. Lugged frame, Simplex components, Sugino french threaded bottom bracket, Mafac brakes, Maillard quick release alloy hubs.

I would call the frame "scuffy". There are lots of places where the paint is scuffed or scratched...no dents or damage, just lots of scuffs. You should be able to zoom-in and check it out.

It shifts gears, brakes, and rides like most all Peugeot bikes... very smooth.

The frame measures 64cm(25 1/4") from the center of the crank to the top of the seat tube. The standover height is 35" from the ground to the top of the top tube. A rider 6'3 and taller should fit. To check fit, measure your crotch height while wearing your riding shoes to see if you are taller than the standover height. You want to make sure you can straddle the top tube while flat-footed. Leg length is more important than your total height.

This is a 10-speed(5x2) road bike. The bike has a Simplex Prestige rear derailleur and Simplex shifters. I replaced the original Simplex front derailleur with a period-correct Shimano. It has a Sugino crankset and a Sugino french threaded bottom bracket. It has Mafac Racer brakes with Shimano BL-Z32 brake levers. The bike has the original tire wipers(made to keep tires clean) attached to the brake calipers. It has a 5-speed Suntour freewheel. The bike has french-made Maillard hubs w/quick release skewars on both hubs. The rear rim is Araya steel and the front is Weinmann aluminum.

The bike was completely disassembled. All the components and the drivetrain were removed and deep-cleaned. The fork was removed and the headset bearings were replaced, greased, and the headset was adjusted. The wheelhub bearings were all replaced, greased and adjusted. The internal cups and cones where the bearings travel were all deep-cleaned to provide the cleanest and smoothest surface possible. The wheels were trued, the rims and spokes were individually cleaned. The bottom bracket was overhauled with new bearings and grease. The frame was cleaned and polished. The brake calipers and levers, shifters, derailleurs, cranks, chainrings, and drivetrain were all disassembled and rebuilt. There's not a nut or bolt on the bike I haven't touched.

I have left the handlebars bare so that you can customize it with whatever color bartape you like, and so we can adjust the brake levers before locking them down with bartape. I have a couple of colors of tape for sale. I'll bring these along when we meet up.

Specialized Expedition and Specialized Globe Carmel. They both have the same frame and components. Shimano Altus rear derailleur, Shimano RevoShift twist shifters, SR Suntour NEX 4100 front shock, Shimano MegaRange freewheel(14-34t), Shimano triple crankset (14/34/54t) and 26x1.95 tires. The Expedition has a shock absorbing seatpost.

They are a medium size which measures 17" from the crank bolt to the top of the sear tube. A rider around 5'6 should fit.

They both have new cables, new brake pads, and new internal bearings. The bikes were disassembled and cleaned. Components were removed, cleaned, and adjusted.

1987 Peugeot Tourmalet. It has new tires and tubes, new brake lever hoods, new cables and cable housings, new brake pads, and new ball bearings. This is a French-made Peug with Shimano components. It has a frame made with Peug's HLE tubing. It has the original paper tag that indicates it is a PHE10 model with a 60cm frame. The bike has the original components.
The bike shifts gears, brakes, and rides ultra-smooth.

The frame measures 60cm from the crank bolt to the top of the seat tube. The standover height is 33 1/4" from the ground to the top of the top tube. A rider around 6'0 to 6'2 or so should fit, although leg length is more important than total height. To check fit; Measure your crotch height to see if you are taller than the standover height to see if you can straddle the top tube while flat-footed. Again...leg length is more important than your total height.

The bike is a 12-speed(6x2) road/racing bicycle. The bike has Shimano Light Action derailleurs(L532 rear) and Light Action L422 indexing(clicking) shifters. The drivetrain has a Shimano 6-speed freewheel(13-28t), and Nervar crankset with 52/42t chainrings. It has Dia Compe G500 brake calipers. The hubs are quick release Maillard Normandy that have aluminum rims and Michelin 700x28c gumwall tires. It has a Selle Italia white seat(seat has couple of stains).

For Sale: 2005 Lightning P-38 recumbent...size Large.

The bike has new stainless steel cables, new cable housings, new internal ball bearings, and new handlebar tape.

All the components and the drivetrain were removed, deep-cleaned, and adjusted. The headset bearings were removed and those internal bearings were cleaned and regreased. The bottom bracket was removed and cleaned of the grit that usually accumulates there. The brake calipers, derailleurs, cranks, chainrings, and drivetrain were all disassembled and rebuilt. The wheelhub bearings were replaced and greased. Wheels were trued. The bike comes with the seat bag accessory that slips over the the seat and attaches to the frame. The last pic in the ad shows it.

This is Large size recumbent. It is currently set-up for the short end of size range for large riders, The crank tube boom can be extended another 6 inches or so to fit a taller rider. All the sizing info can be found on the website.

It has a Shimano 105 Octalink crankset(52-42-30). It has a Deore LX rear derailleur. The front derailleur is Shimano 105 FD-5504. The bike has Shimano 9-speed bar end shifters. It has Avid single digit 7 v-brakes. The cassette is a Shimano 9-speed 11-32. The hubs are Deore LX with sun rims(CR18), a 20x1.25 wheel on the front and a 700x28c on the back.

The crank tube is 9". The bottom bracket(boom) extension is 7.5". The stem size is 19". The seat is 32" and has an "L" tag. The bike weighs 27lbs.

1974 Schwinn Continental 10-speed road bike. The bike has new tires, new stainless steel cables, new cable housing, new brake pads, and new internal ball bearings. It shifts gears, brakes, and rides very smooth.

The bike has a 26" frame as measured from the crank bolt to the top of the seat tube. The standover height of the top tube is 35 1/4". For a correct fit you need to be able to straddle the top tube while flat-footed. Measure your crotch height while wearing shoes and compare w/ standover height measurement. Typically a rider 6'3 and taller should fit, but leg length is always more important than head-height.

The frame is Reynolds 531 double-butted tubing. The stays and fork are chrome-moly. Even though this is a big frame, it is lightweight due to the Reynolds 531 tubing.

1984 Centurion Sport DLX mixte made in Japan. The bike was completely disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt, piece by piece. It has new tires, new tubes, new rim strips, new stainless steel cables, new cable housings, new brake pads, and new internal ball bearings. Everything works perfectly. The bike shifts gears, brakes, and rides ultra-smooth.
This style of bike frame is called a mixte(mix-tee). The frame measures 19" from the center of the crank to the top of the seat tube(where the seat post is inserted). A rider around 5'0 to 5'6-5'7 should fit.
This is a 10-speed vintage road bike. The bike has a Suntour Seven rear derailleur, a Suntour 7 front derailleur, and Suntour shifters located on the stem by the handlebars. The crankset is Sugino with 52/40 chainrings. The freewheel is a Suntour Perfect 5-speed. The bike has Dia-Compe 500 brake calipers. The bike has steel rims with 27 x 1 3/8" tires.

This is a 21-speed(7x 3) mountain bike. The bike has Suntour X-1 derailleurs, Suntour X-Press shifters, Suntour X-1 crankset, and DiaCompe X-1 cantilever brakes. The drivetrain has a replacement 7-speed Shimano freewheel, and a triple crankset(48/33/28). The rims are Specialized black BX-25 rims on Suntour X-1 hubs with 26x1.95" Maxxis tires.

The bike has some scuffs...hard to see them in the pics because the frame is black.

The bike has new cables, new cable housings, new brake pads, and new internal bearings. The tires are pretty new and have real good tread. They are 26 x 1.75" road tires.

The frame measures 21" from the center of the crank to the top of the seat tube. The standover height is 30 1/4" from the ground to the top of the top tube. A rider around 5'2 to 5'6 or so should fit. To check fit(and see if my estimate is correct), measure your crotch height to see if you are taller than the standover height. See if you can straddle the top tube while flat-footed. Leg length is more important than your total height.

This is a 21-speed(7x 3) mtn bike. The bike has Shimano Deore II SIS derailleurs, Shimano Deore II SIS(clicking) thumb shifters, Deore II crankset, and Deore II SLR cantilever brakes. The drivetrain has a 7-speed cassette and a triple crankset. The rims are black Specialized GX26 on Deore hubs with 26x1.75" road tires.

1984 Ladies Gazelle Tour de France made in the Netherlands. It was brought to Atlanta from the Netherlands by the former owner. I doubt you will see another one in this area.

The bike has new tires, new stainless steel cables, new cable housings, new brake pads, and new internal ball bearings. It was completely disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt, piece by piece. Everything works perfectly.

This is a 5-speed vintage Dutch cruiser/road bike. Gazelle(pronounced ha-zel-la) has been making bikes in the Netherlands since 1902 and is still making bikes. This is a 5-speed bike with a lugged steel frame. Notice all the bolts that are capped with red inlaid gazelle emblems, and the strap attachment points for the rear rack that have embossed gazelles on them. The bike has working lights, a built-in bike lock(with keys), a kickstand, a pump...and a bell.

This frame measures 54cm from the center of the crank bolt to the top of the seat tube tube(where the seat post is inserted). A rider around 5ft to 5'4 should fit.
