Let's hear it for our Varsity Football Head Coach, Jeff Turner! 🏈

Coach Turner brings over 30 years of incredible coaching experience to the field. After starting his high school coaching career in Georgia, he first joined the Newsome family in 2007.

In 2008, he stepped up as our offensive coordinator, playing a massive role in leading the program to its first THREE consecutive district championships! 🏆🏆🏆 After taking a position at East Bay High School in 2017, we were absolutely thrilled to welcome him back to Newsome High School Athletics in 2024 as Head Coach.

For Coach Turner, the best part of the job is working with our amazing student-athletes and his fellow coaches. He’s a big believer in the powerful life lessons that team sports teach everyone involved.

We are so excited for Coach Turner and the upcoming football season! Let’s Go Wolves! 💙🐺
