If I’m being honest, it’s really hard to coach your own. This girl is my heart. I love her so dearly, nothing will ever be able to change that.

P is funny, full of love, kind, happy, free spirited & super fun. My fear coaching her is, I don’t want to mess her up. She may not be the fiercest competitor/the hardest worker, she may just want to have fun. I can’t believe I’m even saying this… but I’m being fully transparent. I’m trying to figure her out.

What I do know is, this girl is pure JOY, if I push she tends to lose that joyful spirit. Sadly, I find myself most practices not coaching her, letting her just be. I have to as a parent and coach adapt and find out what lights her fire. We’ve never been ones to push anything on our kids, we let them lead. It’s their story, their journey, their calling and life.

As we continue to grow, navigate, and blossom as mother & daughter - I promise to love her and support her in anything & everything- with every ounce of me. I’m forever & always FOR HER.
