I just started MTB coaching in Bentonville, Arkansas!

I met a rider at the new OZ DH Park. We were both excited about it opening up this month. He told me he feels he's a fairly confident rider but doesn't know how to do wheel lifts, drops or jumps. I told him I'd teach him in 1 afternoon if he wants. He took me up on it. He went from never lifting a wheel to doing wheel lifts, bunny hops, drops and even doing his first jumps with good control.

Even if air isn't your thing it's a good idea to learn wheel lifts and drops for normal trail riding. And learning how to get air safely and im control is valuable incase you ever find yourself accidentally in the air. And who knows...you might end up loving jumping more than you ever thought you would.

- what your dominant leg is for better bike control.
- how to more easily conquer techy sections.
- how to bail from your bike preventing injury.
- how to ratchet to prevent pedal strikes.
- how to track stand/pause on your bike before riding an unknown feature.
- how to control your braking better on steep sections.
- how to steer your front wheel seperate from your back.
- how to make climbs easier.
- how to preload your bike and how to lift your wheel to get over roots.

4 Clinics:

MTB Fundamentals - This class is taught in a field with props to get riders dialed in for handing techy trails and more advanced riding capabilities. Did you know you have a dominant foot just like in skateboarding or snowboarding? You'll find out which is yours in this clinic and it will help you tackle all the features out there!

Fundamentals Trail Application - We will take everything learned in the Fundamentals class and head into the trails to practice better standing, cornering, climbing and conquering new techy features.

Drop Class - it's time to get your wheels off the ground! Learn how to preload, lift front/back and both wheels, and conquer the 3 wooden drops with control.

Jump Clinic - Want to learn how to get more air and land jumps with control? This class teaches you how to pump rollers, preload, get better arc and control your landings with adjustable ramps. Students will be taught in small gradual increments from rolling a small jump all the way to clearing their first gap jump.

My private sessions are booking up fast!!

Just a reminder I am in FL hosting MTB lessons for 6 weeks (Jan 9th - Feb 20th).

If you are interested in 1 of my weekend group clinics it's just $95 and you can learn how to better conquer technical terrain, wheel lifts, drops or jumps.

Private lessons are $150 on weekdays ($50 more for a 2nd person). I have limited availability for private sessions so if you are pondering it you should book soon before I'm sold out.
