On Feb. 18th, we carried 7 shooters to Lithia, Fl for the FLYESS State Shoot. We represented well with several individual medals. We're super proud of these guys.

On Feb. 12rg, we hosted our second annual Shoot Your Heart Out SCTP sporting clays tournament. We hosted 62 youth from 7 different clubs and 2 states. The weather was great, and the targets and fellowship were even better. Thank you to all of our sponsors and the clubs that participated.

Hey everybody, our hard working 4-H kids are having a fundraiser to help offset the high cost of ammo and to help with registration fees for upcoming tournaments. Grab some friends, shotguns and ammo and come join us for a day of fun. There will be lots of door prizes but you gotta show up to win. Also, we are selling tickets for a Yeti 40 Bag Cooler and will draw the winner at the shoot! Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Pre-registration is required.

COVID 19 has resulted in an indefinite suspension of all youth shooting sports. But we can stay on top of our game by practicing in the safety of our homes. There are many exercises that we can do to keep our gun mounts consistent and keep the muscle memory we have strong. We can also work on eye strength and focus exercises as well. There are you tube channels such as Ben Husthwaite, Shoot The Racket, Go Shoot and many more that have excellent videos demonstrating these excercises and giving tips for shooting that we can immerse ourselves in while under quarantine. To all my 4-Hers out there I hope to see you soon!

Had a great day yesterday at Dixie Trap in Matthews, Al. Drew and Lara Fleener, Oscar Foxworth, Jacob Pettis, Cy Pettis and Cole and Cass Dillard represented well with Jacob getting 3rd and Drew getting 2nd in their age divisions.
