Some of the athletes in our programs also play for Factory Shoals Middle School, and their baseball team is hosting a community car wash and treats fundraiser this Saturday. We’re sharing the details below for families who may be interested in supporting their school event.

🍿 Snacks & Treats Available for Purchase

Last call for spring ball! ⚾🥎 Registration for West Georgia Youth Sports’ 2026 Spring Recreational Baseball & Softball season closes this Sunday, Feb 1. Don’t miss your player’s chance to be on the field with friends this spring at Lithia Springs Park.

Our rec program is open to ages 3–18, with divisions for both baseball and softball so every player can learn, grow, and compete in a fun, family-centered environment. WINTER REC WORKOUTS 2026
COACH & PARENT INFORMATION
West Georgia Youth Sports and Base2Base Sports are partnering to offer free January workouts to help players build skills before the spring season.

Key Details
Who: All WGYS baseball and softball players (all ages)
When: Saturdays – January 10, 17, 24, 31
Time: 3:00–6:00 PM
Where: B2B Facility, 10771 Veterans Memorial Highway
Cost: Free, but players must be registered with WGYS
Schedule:
3:00 PM – Baseball hitting
3:45 PM – Baseball defense
4:30 PM – Softball hitting
5:15 PM – Softball defense

Players may attend the sessions that match their sport and needs. Encourage athletes to bring a glove, bat, helmet, and water.

For Coaches: Use these workouts to evaluate fundamentals, encourage off‑season development, and build team chemistry.
Great opportunity to introduce new players to your coaching style and expectations.
Coordinate with families so each player attends at least one hitting and one defensive session.

For Parents: Perfect chance for your player to knock off the rust and gain confidence before evaluations.
Sessions are structured and supervised to focus on skill, effort, and positive attitudes.
Stay and watch from the viewing areas and help reinforce what players learn at home.

How to Register: All athletes must be registered with West Georgia Youth Sports before attending.

Visit WestGeorgiaYouthSports.org and complete your spring registration, then scan the QR code from the main flyer or check your confirmation email for workout check‑in details.
