To say I was madder than a hornet in a tin can yesterday is quite the understatement. I could sit here and write one hell of a rant this morning but I'll just keep it to a minimum:

​Horses are a MASSIVE commitment of time, money, and responsibility. If you cannot afford to properly feed them, keep their feet maintained, and provide necessary veterinary care, you SHOULD NOT be keeping or breeding them.

​As horse owners, buyers and sellers we have to hold this community to a higher standard. And I'm done biting my tongue and keeping my opinions to myself on this one - the next time I'm face to face with someone that's guilty of this they'll be getting an ear full & I'll be coming unglued because I'm so tired of seeing this and the bs excuses that people come up with.

Support ethical breeders and owners, PAY ATTENTION to the true condition of the animals you look at, and never turn a blind eye to neglect. And do not give a dime to the people that do this, you are simply being an enabler by doing so.

EVERY SINGLE horse in our care deserves proper management. PERIOD. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSES!!!!

Building a quality lesson program over the years has taken so much hard work and dedication, and it is such a blessing to see what it has become. There is nothing better than seeing the joy, confidence, and smiles on everyone's faces when they walk through our barn doors each week.

Fun fact: We feed about 195,000 pounds of alfalfa per year. Right now we have 60% of our hay for 1 year.

Congratulations to Hazel & her family on their purchase of our wonderful boy Buck!! Leasing turned into owning for them & we couldn't have asked for a better family for this sweet guy!
