Northstar Bass League has openings for this season! We fish Tuesday Nights west of the Metro (McLeod and Meeker county lakes area) This season we will be fishing 8 Tuesday nights and our end of year tournament on a Saturday! Friendly competition with 100% nightly payouts!

Ice Fishing is about over! We have still been getting out on the ATV’s, and the Crappie fishing has been on fire! Unfortunately Mother Nature took charge this winter and only allowed us 6 weeks of fish house Rentals. This up and down weather all winter long really took its toll on our landings and caused our wheelhouse season to be cut short. Overall it was a successful winter with our Sleeper Ice Castle being booked for the entire season!

Today closed out the “Game Fish” Season. However, panfish are still fair game! We’ve spent some time checking ice conditions, and scouting around the w**ds in search of a good panfish bite.
Unfortunately our landings have taken a beating from this recent warm weather and Snow to top it off! We will not be doing Rentals next weekend for safety reasons. We will continue to monitor the lakes and make decisions going into March on a week-week basis.

Reminder!! You will need a New Fishing License starting March 1st!

We had the opportunity to take out the Kesler Family on a run n gun trip this weekend. It was an absolute stellar day for fishing. They put the beat down on the crappies, keeping a pile of eaters along with releasing several more! Thanks again guys for coming out with with us!

This past weekend was fun! It was a tough bite Friday night into Saturday. We ended up moving the sleeper house 30ft and it was lights out from there! Brad and his group ended up smashing their limit Saturday night!

Day houses were also on active fish! With reports of all groups catching and releasing 20+ crappies! They had to w**d through the small ones but were able to bring some home for the dinner plate!

The ice Castle was on fire 🔥 this last weekend! Thank you Al and Tracy for spending the weekend with us!

UPDATE! Our Ice Castle will be available to rent for the afternoons on Sundays ONLY from 12:30-6:30pm for $80!

Thanks, James and Hudson for coming out to fish in our Ice Castle! Neither had ever been ice fishing before, but with a little guidance from us, they were able to take home a limit!

It was a Cold and Windy weekend for fishing! For several the fishing was a little slow, but at least every group caught fish!

This coming weekend looks to be brutally cold and we made the decision to cancel Day houses for Saturday 1/24.

Ice Castle Sleeper House is completely booked through the entire month of February!! Thank you everyone for your continued support!

First weekend of the rentals being out was a success! Seeing the smiles on these kids faces was a good reminder of why we started doing this in the first place. Most of our day houses were on active sunfish throughout the day! Our Sleeper house was set up for crappies and it delivered!

We have a few openings for our day houses this coming weekend. Book now before they are gone!

Fish Houses Rentals are ready for the weekend!!

We have openings for our day houses and even the Ice Castle yet! Don’t wait book now!
DAY HOUSES: start at $60 for 6 hrs
ICE CASTLE SLEEPER: Due to the short week it is only available from Saturday morning-Sunday afternoon $250

THE BITE! We will be set up on a shallow w**d bite for this coming weekend. You are likely to catch some nice sized Sunfish and Crappies along with an occasional Northern, Bass, or Walleye! We have a minimum of 13” of ice and you will be able to drive directly to your fish house!
Located less than 25 minutes from Hutchinson or Litchfield!

Update on fish houses!

Introducing our weekend package! This is our 8x17 ice castle. It has a lift bed, front bunk, and dinette that turns into a bed, will sleep 3-5 people! House will have stove, microwave, TV, and generator with 5 gallons of gas. Bathroom is winterized but will have a dry toilet. House will already be placed with holes drilled and ready to go!
Check in will be anytime after 2:00pm on Fridays and check out 11:00am on Sunday! Price for the weekend is $350 with a $100 deposit that will double as a refundable damage deposit.

Day houses:
This year we have a total of 3 houses that fish 4 people and 1 house that fishes 2 people.
Prices are $10 per hour with a minimum of 6 hours. Discounts are available If you are looking to book multiple houses, or book a house for an extended amount time!

Ice is looking great! Tomorrow we will post to confirm but we plan to have houses ready for this weekend!

ICE REPORT!
Today we put on 75 miles checking all of our local lakes for ice (Meeker, Mcleod, and Kandiyohi counties) On average we are seeing 8”-10.75” roughly 100 yards from shore. ATV’s and smaller wheel houses are already on several lakes. Snow cover is minimal to none and ice is looking great!

This report is only a guide and not acurate for the entire lake! No ice is completely safe and always check for yourself before going out!

RENTALS!!
Our goal is to have rentals out and ready to go by January 10th depending on ice conditions. Our houses will not be on anything less than 12-13” for safety reasons. House updates and this years’ pricing will be posted in the next few days!
