🏃‍♂️✨ What a race day! ✨🏃‍♀️

The 49th Annual Litchfield Hills Road Race was one to remember.

From the first runners off the line to the final finishers crossing under the clock, the energy throughout Litchfield was incredible. Hundreds of runners, volunteers, sponsors, spectators, and community members came together to celebrate one of New England’s most beloved road races.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible, from our volunteers and local volunteer emergency services, to our sponsors, local businesses, residents, and the countless fans who lined the course and cheered every runner on.

Congratulations to every participant who took on the challenge and became part of this tradition.

And now… the countdown begins. 👀

Next year marks the 50th Annual Litchfield Hills Road Race, a milestone celebration you won’t want to miss.

A Hidden Tribute Along the Course 💗🦩

As you make your way through the course, keep an eye out for a few pink flamingos along the route.

They’re more than decorations, they’re a tribute to Penny Pickle, the daughter of one of our sponsors, Litchfield Center Dental . Penny’s memory is being honored through these small reminders placed throughout the race course.

If you spot a flamingo, take a moment to think of Penny and the love that continues to carry her story forward. 💕
