Blended Smoke BBQ Blended Smoke is a family operated Backyard competition BBQ team established in 2025.

We compete in mainly rib burn competitions around the Midwest with the RCOA and KCBS BBQ organizations. Blended Smoke is a veteran led, family ran competition BBQ team established in 2025.

Last minute decision to enter in to the Rhythm and BBQ Fest in Morris, IL. It was only a 40 minute ride down 55 so we couldn’t pas it up! This was our first year at this comp and we will be back next year! It was a great location in the park with live music and delicious food vendors!

We thought we had a good cook and the judges agreed with the chicken, ribs are on me, we will adjust and send em again next time!

🐔 🥉 3rd place
Ribs 14th place

Enough to get a 6th place call overall in an absolutely stacked field of competitors!

It’s been a busy couple of weeks for us and as usual I am late with the social media! I’ll learn how to multitask eventually!

Last weekend we took the trip up to Bring'n Home the Bacon for our favorite camping and BBQ comp of the year! This is the comp the kids look forward too! We had a blast swimming, fishing, riding bikes, playing with old friends and meeting new ones! The highlight for our cook was that all three kids heard their names called in the kids and junior Q.

Caleb cooked some Dino Eggs (BBQ meatbombs) and got a 15th place call!

Emery cooked a delicious Pork Tenderloin and heard a 6th place call!

Kenzlee took 1st place and came home with the belt! The judges loved her smoked biscuits and gravy! 🥇

We won’t talk about our backyard double results.
