A look at where the Glasswood Ski Boat build stands. Now that ski season is almost finished the crew will be putting more time in the shop and we are actually close to woodworking. Here is smoothing the template designed to cut the IP top. Goal is to have 2+ projects going on this boat at a time going fwd.

I thought or was behind, guiding the tip of the canoe šŸ›¶ the whole time. Nope. Who knew this one turned out to be perfectly balanced. Happens every time.

showing the extra room we created in the build while Mike and Paul finish fine tuning the windshield base. We got the glass on at the end of the night and it looks great! People can actually tell it’s a ski boat now.

got a film crew to follow him on his first ever Canoe šŸ›¶ launch!
I’m trying to remember my first boat ride. it was probably a row boat on Lake Argyle on a hot Saturday afternoon. It would have been nice if Instagram was around 35 years ago so I could have a living journal of my experiences too šŸ˜†
This was a a bit of a rush because of the ā€œno watercraftā€ sign behind us, but we were able to get some good footage. Also this is the first time this Canoe has floated šŸ’¦ so many first all around this weekend.

I couldn’t believe it, a Steam dingy chugging across the lake. Everyone else seemed to think this was a normal occurrence up here, just another wooden boat. Maybe something we will add tot he lost in the shop.

Aaaaand it’s gone! The spider and the web is gone, only a few strings left to show it was ever there. Miles couldn’t even find him in the brush.

Definitely waking up early to see the dew on this guys web. It’s a good thing the dew sticks around until about 10:30 around here just in case šŸ˜† I’ve never seen a zigzag web like this one either. The garden just got interesting again!
