Our house is very LIVELY (see: crazy 🤪) in the mornings. That’s why I thrive on routine! I’m usually finishing my workout, journaling and walking the dog before the sun comes up. This morning I took time to re-evaluate my normal ‘routine’ and to cuddle with my guy 💗

It was a much needed reminded of WHY I do what I do every day. It’s not to check ✔️ things off my list. It’s to make a lifetime of memories with my crew. My WHY is to show these kiddos how happy their Mommy can be.

How it started vs how it’s going ✨

Matthew was diagnosed with a severe speech delay at 21 months old. It was a long road filled with ups and downs, but today this sweet boy GRADUATED 👨‍🎓 SPEECH!

Every week for the last 2 1/2 years we did speech-in person, on zoom, at school, at school on zoom 🤪and now at KatieBug. It feels unreal that we are at this point. But I’m SO proud of you Matthew. You’re a hard worker and we’re excited to celebrate you bug!

5..4..3..2..1..It’s not going to make it 𝙴𝙰𝚂𝚈 it’s going to make it 𝙷𝙰𝙿𝙿𝙴𝙽 ✨

I heard this in my book today 𝑇ℎ𝑒 5 𝑆𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑅𝑢𝑙𝑒. 🙌🏻 and literally said 𝚈𝙴𝚂𝚂𝚂𝚂𝚂! The hardest part for me is ALWAYS THE starting!

⏰ Snoozing was SO comfortable for me, until it wasn’t. I would get enough sleep, yet still be tired. Turns out I was messing with my body by snoozing 3 times 🤪 I’m proud to say I’m close to a month in of not snoozing and I feel so rested (with a new rescue pup and a 13 month old 🙌🏻!)

I have this amazing crew that holds me accountable every darn morning to NOT snooze. We get up at different times BUT we DONT 👏 SNOOZE 👏
Let me know if you need to break the SNOOZE cycle! We got you 💥

Last night I was all over the place 🌪 and dinner was the last thing I wanted to make.

Since my children insist on eating 🙃 I pulled out my charcuterie board and cleaned out the fridge. They were SO excited they could choose whatever they wanted. Lucas even said it was the ‘best night ever’.
