Meet the Board: Tyler Orth

From growing up hunting and fishing in Minnesota to competing across multiple shooting disciplines, Tyler Orth has always been drawn to the outdoors, precision, and the challenge of continually improving his craft.

Tyler’s path into competition began after an elk hunt challenged his skills and made him realize just how much more there was to learn. That experience sparked a commitment to becoming a more capable and proficient hunter, and eventually led him into the world of precision competition.

Along the way, Tyler has competed in sporting clays, archery, 3-gun, and PRS, bringing a well-rounded perspective and a genuine passion for the sport to his role with USPRA.

As Treasurer, Tyler is part of the team working behind the scenes to help build a strong foundation for the organization and the continued growth of precision competition.

Most importantly, Tyler believes in the community that surrounds this sport - the willingness to share knowledge, learn from one another, and help new competitors find their place.

Meet the Board: Gregg Stewart

A retired U.S. military veteran from Western Pennsylvania, Gregg Stewart has been part of the precision community since 2015, helping build the grassroots foundation of rimfire competition across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Today, Gregg leads the strategic growth and direction of the national rimfire series as Rimfire Director, while also serving as Match Director for MKM Precision and representing the United States as a two-time USA Rimfire Open Team member.

From helping establish the sport at the regional level to representing it on the international stage, Gregg brings the same discipline, leadership, and long-range vision to everything he does.

THE FUTURE OF PRECISION SHOOTING STARTS HERE

One of our favourite things about the World Championship isn’t just what happens on the firing line.

It’s watching the youngest members of our community get caught up in the excitement, too.

From tagging along with their parents to meeting competitors from around the world, collecting memories and finding their own place in the community, Worlds has a way of bringing everyone together, and that includes the little ones who may someday become the next generation of precision shooters.

Because this sport is about more than competition.

It’s about the friendships, the families, the shared passion and the community that grows every time we come together.

And there’s something pretty special about seeing the future of precision shooting right alongside the people who are competing today.
