Bluefin tuna fishing update. 2 week update. First week of fishing was a blast with John Rhines and Kenneth Carter Brandt. They caught the biggest striper, or striped bass, that I've ever been part of, and a 96 inch porbegal shark. 2nd week I had the honor of fishing aboard the Miss Sydney and Artys Party. We fished long hours for that elusive giant bluefin bite, that did not happen. There are more tuna marks already this year than all of last year. My admiration for the Bluefin captains and their efforts, to be successful in this endeavor, grows every year. I thank the good Lord for these opportunities. Thank you to everyone following along on this adventure.

Anchored up yesterday on Stellwagon Bank. The bluefin showed up. We thought we were going to get bit. Look closely at the picture and see our bait avoid the tuna. Oh baby we were close to hooking up. We are fishing hard and will continue to do so. Have a great day. Captain Darrin.

2nd hit on inside squid rig. Pulled it underwater then it popped back up. Strike 2. Come on tuna.
